GUYS I HAVE TEORY!!!

Imagine a world of limitless madness. There could be anything in it, but we know little about it...

Why do you think we know absolutely all the characters, except for one character that resembles Hank’s palette, but he is completely different, maybe we are looking at this character from the wrong angle, but it seems to me that this character is hiding something from himself...

Hank - We know everything about him, we don’t even have to explain. He just started this madness...

Deimos and Sanford - we know about them, even one has a past and we know that they are best friends who have been friends almost since childhood. Hence the conclusion...if Deimos and Sanford were friends for 18 years, it turns out that during their friendship Deimos went to the Agency (as you know, people get hired after coming of age ). But something went wrong, Deimos betrayed his corporation and they will have to work for “HIM”. Why? Unknown...But we know for sure that it was Deimos.

Jebus (Christoff Jebediah) - he is almost the most developed character in the world. We know his past and present, and probably also his future.

Tricky (Hoffnar) - the second is the most elaborate, and in some sense its prehistory is ironic. We also know his past and present and future, since he will appear in the next episode (if my memory serves me correctly).

Sheriff - I don't care if they are different universes or not. They're both canon. And here we learn that the Sheriff is a coward only when he has already lost almost all of MERC (although...he is a bit of a coward in the game too...). He is Christoff's friend and a handyman. He had an entire organization that he fucked up. (A true "Sheriff-hero", just like his friend, a true savior but in fact an asshole).

Crackpot - It’s amazing, but we also know his backstory...(which I don’t want to retell)

Auditor - He’s a mysterious person, but we know at least a little something about him. He is a demon and works with his "brothers" (they are not brothers, THEY ARE JUST EMPLOYERS!!!). And as far as I understand, the Auditor has a close connection with the halo since he puts it on and repaints himself to match its shade. And he's also an asshole. And as far as I understand, he appeared because of the movement of improbability and at the same time we know his House... (Auditor's Hell (wow)).

Everyone I list, we know everyone, everyone has a small but large prehistory for the character and a large-scale continuation for himself (sometimes)... but there is one character... about whom we know nothing... and even after For several years we still don’t know anything about him, only facts about him... not his backstory, not his future...

2BDamned - He's not a doctor. I support this. Those who think so, go write fanfiction about it (I’ll definitely read it). He works as a dispatcher and curator, and as the most important one. That's all we know about him. We don’t know the details of how he revives the prantoganists, we don’t know how he met the Machine, we don’t know why Doc chose “YOU”, who will soon become special and contact the “Creator of the Nevada world” (and the wiki also says that the Maker collaborates with 2BDamned...very, very suspicious...). And I had an amazing thought...

He's hiding something from us... but what... what exactly? Is it really something that can affect the world? Does he know that he and everyone else are in the matrix? We even know Victor and Phobos. But no one talks about him, no one says that we know nothing about 2BDamned and that’s why I dedicated a huge post about it with errors.

no... this is not a shortcoming of the character, if it were so, then we would have been told everything in the game or from Krinkels... but no... he just...

Doc is not doctor and that was stated many times.
As for why is he working with the Maker and chosed "You" to be somewhat savior, then all we can tell is that they have similiar goal. "You" doesn't have a past, is one of the S3LFs and has only one purpose, to get more information on machine.

But why did he know that it was “YOU”... Why did Doc know this?...He never even says that he contacted the Creator directly...

@Archieart He knows "You" because it is made out S3LF that he took from the other place. The "player" (that is also the name for "you") is supposed to loop in order for nevada to not fall, which is in favor of The Maker and also gathers info about mandatus and machine, which benefits Doc.

Everything I said is in arena mode. It will require to play like 4 times through arena from fresh character with no imprints.

but why does Doc need to know information about the mandatus? Why this particular mission? Why doesn't Doc do it himself?

What is Doc's target...?

@Archieart he wants to know more about machine, hell, the nowhere etc.
Don't know what you mean by particular mission, but I guess you mean arena mode. Story mode tells about fall of nevada and arena about it's backstage. If both would do same thing, then it could get messy.
Doc doesn't do it himself, because he is mastermind and those as usual don't put themselfs to danger + he can revive others, but it is not guaranted to him.
What is his target? Who knows? It wasn't stated exactly.

So. So I draw a conclusion. Doc learns about hell and other places in order to save his partners. He needs “YOU” to find out about the mandate and the Machine... well, “YOU”, in turn, does this on Doc’s orders. Now we draw conclusions; As far as I understand, all the characters, well, almost, do not know the Machine, and Doc sends “YOU” to carry out his order, as if he knows that this Nevada deity exists.

(yes, I seem choked up with these theories but still...)

It still seems to me that it’s not just that he needs to know about this “Mechanical Deity”...
